Your journey with Euro Asia Travels begins today as you arrive in Colombo.

Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative of Euro Asia Travels with a signage and a fresh garland of flowers. You will then be transferred to your accommodation in Colombo.

Proceed to Kandy. Enjoy a unique experience at Udawatta Kele Forest Reserve.

Udawatta Kele Forest Reserve is a historic forest reserve on a hill-ridge in the city of Kandy. The reserve contains a great variety of plant species, many small and medium size mammals and several kinds of snakes and other reptiles that inhabit Sri Lanka.

Embark on an excursion to discover the Hortain Plains National Park.

Horton Plains National Park is undoubtedly one of the world’s best nature reserves. A UNESCO nature site, it is the only national park in the central highlands. Embark on an early morning trek as this is when the air is likely to be clearest so that you can enjoy the best of the views.

Embark on an excursion to discover Galway National Park.

Galway National Park is a small wildlife sanctuary located within the city limits of Nuwara Eliya and one of the most significant birding sites in Sri Lanka. Galway’s Land harbours around 20 rare migrant bird species and 30 native species. Apart from the avifauna, the park has valuable floral species of both native and foreign origin.

Leave in the afternoon for Maskeliya and get few hours rest before you start the climb to Sri Pada.

Begin the climb at approximately 0200 hrs. Climb through the night in order to reach the summit by dawn to witness a once in a lifetime sunrise.

Rising 2,243 meters (7,359 feet) above the island’s Central Highlands, Adams Peak –a UNESCO natural site, regarded as one of best mountains in the world to witness the majestic sun rise. The journey teaches patience and perseverance, as the ancient saying about Sri Pada says ‘one must not ever say that one cannot climb it, just take one step at a time’.

Climbing the mountain is a popular pilgrimage, and a steady trickle of travellers join devotees between December and April to attempt the ascent.

Enveloped within the Galle Fort is a maze of narrow roads lined with small houses, restaurants, shops, villas and boutique hotels and is an utterly enchanting place to explore. Wander along the ramparts of Galle Fort exploring the various art galleries, shops and eateries.

Early morning embark on a guided walk through the Sinharaja Forest Reserve

The last surviving stretch of virgin rainforest in Sri Lanka, Sinharaja Forest Reserve is a UNESCO International Man and Biosphere Reserve, a moist and muggy, murky and mysterious land of exotic colours and wonderful sounds. Trekking here is a truly enriching experience: accompanied by nothing but the sound of gushing waterfalls, gurgling streams and rustling leaves.
